At the hub of a wheel thirty spokes join a hole
Where the emptiness is that allows it to roll.
Form clay all around when you fashion a pot,
But the use of the vessel is where the clay's not.
To make use of a room requires window and door.
It's the space that's inside that a house is built for.
So to gain the advantage of what we have got,
We must learn how to use both what is and is not.
