As colors can make the eye more blind,
So sounds can deafen the ear, we find.
As flavors can leave good taste behind,
So hunting and chasing can madden the mind.
 
Those things that seem so hard to get,
To keep them may prove harder yet.
The sage heeds his belly instead of his eye,
Attending to one, lets the other go by.
