The eternity of heaven and the everlasting earth
Nothing for themselves promote,
But long will live their worth.
The wise man too, in everything,
Will let himself be passed;
Yet find himself the first when he put himself the last.
Because he never wants that selfish things be won,
He always gets his way, and his heart's desire is done.
